eDISCOVERY
eDiscovery is short for electronic discovery, i.e. the process of discovery in civil litigation that is carried out in electronic formats. It includes what is called electronically stored information, or ESI. In a nutshell, eDiscovery is finding all pertinent information to legal proceedings in electronic form.
Examples of the types of ESI which can form part of an eDiscovery investigation are emails, social media posts and messages, any instant messaging chats including Whatsapp/ Messenger/ Instagram messages etc, documents, accounting databases, CAD/CAM files, websites, and any other electronic information that could be relevant evidence in a lawsuit. Also included under the eDiscovery umbrella are “raw data” and “metadata,” which forensic investigators can review for hidden evidence.

Pre-Employment Screening
